Research Square is a leader in the field of research communication, helping academic researchers from across the globe to communicate their work successfully. After a period of rapid growth, during which their focus was on increasing top line growth of their core business and optimizing their operations to support a growing customer base, they realized the need to focus on brand-building and diversification. We helped them accomplish those goals by:

  1. Building out a new business unit by developing a new service, determining product-market fit, hiring new talent, specifying capital investments and collaborating with business development to drive sales
  2. Developing a brand identity, which included a new a logo system, visual identity, brand voice and brand guidelines
  3. Building out a marketing communications practice that was focused on improving visibility to the outside world by proactively seeking opportunities to share Research Square's story, and improving employee engagement and company transparency by building better intra-company communications capabilities
